Kristen H.

Kristen completed her yoga teacher training in the spring of 2024 and approaches yoga as a holistic practice of mind, body, and spirit. In her life, yoga is a living, breathing path of self-discovery and spiritual connection that continues to deepen with each practice. A practitioner of Bhakti Yoga, she also finds joy and inspiration in kirtan and the heart-centered devotion it awakens.

Kristen offers gentle, grounded, and somatic classes designed to help students reconnect with their bodies and cultivate inner centeredness. Her offerings include non-heated slow flow, restorative yoga, and yoga of recovery, inviting a compassionate and embodied approach to these practices. She also has additional training in Y12SR (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery), Sound Healing, and Trauma-Informed Yoga, integrating these modalities to create a safe and nurturing environment for all.

Her teaching is deeply influenced by the wisdom and guidance of Donna Farhi, Anodea Judith, Nikki Myers, Rolf Gates, Seane Corn, and Durga Leela. Drawing from these teachers, Kristen weaves together mindfulness, movement, and soulful connection to support students on their own journeys—both on and off the mat.
