Stephanie M.

Stephanie has been practicing yoga since the early 2000s, and has been a Certified Yoga Teacher since 2011. She completed her 200-hour teacher training through CorePower Yoga in Fort Collins, Colorado, with an emphasis on Power/Vinyasa and the Hot Yoga 26 + 2 sequence.

Yoga has been an integral part of the majority of Stephanie’s adult life—a grounding practice that has helped her find balance, calm, and stability, especially through challenging seasons. She believes in the power of intentional movement, breath, alignment, and the mind-body connection to help us feel more at home in our bodies and carry that sense of connection beyond the mat. Her teaching style is slow and steady, with an emphasis on mindful movement, body awareness, and creating space to simply be. Stephanie's classes may be accompanied by everything from traditional relaxing or energizing yoga music to instrumental and lyrical folk/Americana, indie, rock, psychedelia, and beyond.

Stephanie feels deeply at home in the Yoga V community and loves witnessing the growth, discoveries, and quiet transformations that unfold through practice. Outside of the studio, she is a special education teacher who enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, camping, music, family and friends, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
